Well I was going to look up information from the Heart Association but then it occurred to me... remember how the government over the past few years created a mandate against restaurtants using transfats in their cooking oils. That is a prime example of an action taken by the government in order to lower the rate of heart disease. Btw, even MacDonalds had to change their french fry cooking oil...
