My hubby had a heart attack a month ago so I feel your pain. I did find that if I put a bit of balsamic vinaigrette on them at the table, they are a little more palatable.

ohhh I had the same dilemma with my hubby - I turned to the spice aisle in the grocery and found a wide variety of neat things - so I started trying out all sorts of stuff - I ended up really liking Mrs. Dash's products - seems like there is a spice for everything with Mrs. Dash! No salt and it's heart healthy and adds wonderful flavor!!! Along with Smart Balance (check out the ingredients on this brand - it was recommended by the hubby's heart doctor) butter mixed in to the veggies - you have a great combination!!! I hope this helps!

do you have a steamer? you can put cilantro or any other herb in the water to add flavor while steaming. if you don't have a steamer, you should get one, it gives you many healthy ideas and is great for making fresh veggies instead of buying frozen, but also great for frozen.

Warm them with a chicken broth and garlic. Or add lemon pepper.

There are frozen veggies that come in steamer bags that taste absolutely amazing. Trust me: i really don't like vegtables, but the ones that come in the steam bags I LOVE. Specially the corn and carrots. yummm! รข™¥ answer mine please? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Am0PUtIweK_RhaYMwv1MHgTsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20091111175233AAWV9fL

Cook them with olive oil and lots of garlic. Olive oil is a heart healthy fat and garlic goes well with it
