Is it true that having a constant tonsillitis will lead to heart disease?

I have heard that about gum disease but not tonsillitis. I have heard that tonsillitis all the time can cause some problem in growth but Im not sure how true that can be. Nowadays doctors are quick to remove the tonsils if there are always problems.

never but neglecting the inflammation of tonsils may cause some problems if the if the total vocal area is infected then the infection may leads heart veins but its very very rare but preventions is better than cure always.

If you mean strep throat, it can if not treated, effect your heart valves and other organs. As for (non-strep) tonsillitis, I'm not sure.

streptococcal infections, if untreated, can in rare cases cause rheumatic fever, with damage to the heart valves
