The book of Leviticus defined by every animal on Earth what is good to eat and what is bad to eat. Science today proves they accurately defined those things. How did they know 3000 years ago? Was it wild eyed guesses OR did the creator tell them? 'tаɪ.lər (below) So you claim that they simply performed autopsies like today as well as ran double-blind studies. Yea right.

Human body chemistry hasn't changed much within the last 3000 years, so it's not surprising that our bodies still react badly to the same things. The Bible also says that the world is flat, you know. Update: Chi Guy, I did not say that. If you eat something and it affects you negatively, you will know; no autopsies or double-blind studies necessary. Other holy texts have been right too, and the Bible is full of falsities.

The same way they do now, inspection of the causes, through investigation, but probably not as well.

Including four legged insects? (Lev 11:23)

I don't recall the bible mentioning heart disease or HBP...

It did no such thing. There is nothing wrong with pork and shellfish. This is another example of where people try to say the bible it true when it's not even in the same universe as true. It's gotten to the point where poeple completely make stuff up

I think it said that rabbits chew their cud and that bats are birds... and it didn't say they were bad for YOU, it said they're a sin.

did it ever considered to you maybe people in that time ate that food and there came storys about that food killing you in the old times people looked for food everywhere so it wouldent take long to spread out

It didn't. "Science today proves they accurately defined those things." No, it doesn't. The OT prohibits eating pork -- handled and prepared properly, pork is fine to eat. Not only that, it has more vitamins and protein than beef, and less saturated fat. It's *better* than beef -- yet the bible allows beef and prohibits pork. Lobster and shrimp are very healthy, yet the bible prohibits them. The bible got almost nothing right, and the few things it did get right don't mention either heart disease or high blood pressure. Peace.

Wow! They did that because people died from eating those things. Pork is notoriously known for trichinosis. With shellfish, if you don't keep it cold, it develops bacterial organisms that can sicken or kill someone. How would they have known that they were supposed to keep it cold? And I was not aware that pork and shellfish cause heart disease and high blood pressure...it's not one's diet that causes high blood pressure although if you already have it, it can be exacerbated by not eating healthier. What I do know is that red meat is the main cause (of the foods) of heart disease and stroke.

This proves that THE BIBLE is THE WORD OF GOD. GOD is all powerful and knows everything, yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Lucky guesses. And the fact that much of what is mentioned as bad in Leviticus might well have been responsible for other, more immediate problems without the benefit of refrigeration in those days.
12 :
Refrigeration or the lack thereof my friend. The Bible forbade foods that did not keep well without refrigeration. It is not because of HBP or heart disease that these foods were forbidden but because of food born disease in shellfish and pork.

Citation please. Why would God make meat that would kill people? Or fats that would kill people? Or bacteria and viruses? He created it all, right? Was it part of his plan to... I can't find a logical reason why a creator would do that
