if it can wait a while, like more the a month, get all your and their money together and invest it *DO RESEARCH FIRST* and after that just wait till it grows, and as soon as it does, its better then nothing and sell it. short term, tell them to get a fiew jobs, and ask for help from the government, if htey have welfare allready, then thats a start. or they could do the surgury, and declare bankruptcy
