Since I'm at risk for heart attack/disease should I have my heart checked reguarly?
How do I get it checked? How many times a year/month? Both of my grandfathers died of heart-attacks.

Firstly identify your risk factors and eliminate them. Stop smoking reduce salt intake eat healthy foods and take regular exercise. If you are concerned see you doctor, if he/she feel it is necessary they will refer you to a cardiac consultant at the local hospital. you may need the advice from a dietitian as well. If you do have any problems like me then your doctor should check you regularly every year, but if experience any pains call an ambulance and get to hospital.
