i have pcos the doc wants me on birht control pills but i have heard that it can give you a heart attack and stroke especially if you have it in your family i also have occasional high blood pressure

Hey it depends which one. The combined oral contraceptive pill is definitely a big no no! for high blood pressure. But the progesterone only pill is much safer for women with high blood pressure. If you want more info, you can always ask your pharmacist/nurse/doc , or check it up yourself
