excersise, eat healthier and you can take Omega 3 Fish Oil Pills, but non of this can replace going to your doctor!!!!
2 :
The American Heart Association website can help you to a healthier lifestyle www.americanheart.org . You can make sure your diet is a healthy one, decrease your stress and engage in some form of relaxation, quit smoking and drinking if you do, take the omega 3 oils, and CALL YOUR DOCTOR for an appointment. Also, I would not engage in any form of exercise more strenuous than walking until your doctor has checked you out. Oh, and did I mention, CALL YOUR DOCTOR.
3 :
If its heart disease you should go see the Cardiologist. That way if its serious, they can help you out, And if necessary do surgery. And if you have heart disease, they may want you come in yearly for a checkup to watch it so it doesn't get to serious

Not everyone with heart disease and angina will experience dyspnea or shortness of breath. It is just like people having a heart attack, some experience all the symptoms, while others only experience a few of the symptoms. Most websites and research papers say symtpoms that "CAN" occur, which does not mean that they "WILL" occur. Rarely angina can occur in the absence of coronary disease such as people with certain heart valve problems. I suggest if you haven't already, to see a cardiologist. From your post I am unsure if you are trying to diagnose yourself regarding the CAD and angina. If you haven't seen a cardiologist, let them run tests and diagnose and they can lead you from there. Best wishes to you.
2 :
Dyspnea is not required to diagnose CAD. The shortage of oxygen in CAD is localized to the heart by means of blood flow reduction to the heart muscle, not because the lungs can't exchange oxygen properly. I had angina for almost a year. My angina was atypical and I had no dyspnea. Even though I have COPD (emphysema) and Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. I had CABG in Oct. 2006 You can certainly have CAD without dyspnea. Terry

how work aspirine for prevention of heart disease

how work aspirine for prevention of heart disease?

Aspirin is a blood thinner.
2 :
You might have had a stroke already judging by your grammar.
3 :
my mother told me that it thins your blood so i guess it is easier for the heart to manage. so if the heart is not over worked it is more immune to illness. thats what i think any way ;-)
4 :
it keeps the blood thin so it passes throw the veins
5 :
Well Dear.... aspirin is a very old remedy for pain and it also has the effect of thinning the blood; which can be beneficial in some cases of heart disease. However, in significant doses, it also causes internal bleeding from the stomach. (It has been quoted, that in England, where this drug has been used for many years, the blood lost every year due to the intake of aspirin, would fill a swimming pool) So, my advise would be, do not self-administer this product - go and seek the advice of your doctor first.
6 :
It thins the blood making it easier to flow and the heart doesn't have to work as hard to pump.
7 :
Aspirin (ASA) inhibits the formation of thromboxane, thereby diminishing platelet agregation and clot formation in the heart. As an antiplatelet, aspirin is essential in correcting the underlying pathology and to prevent complications of ischemia.
8 :
ASA blocks the action of platelet factor 3. It is an anticoagulant.
9 :
I don't think it actually thins the blood. I was said that and a doctor and he corected me. I think it make the blood less sticky so it flows better.
10 :
Low dose aspirin, prevents the blood cells from clumping together, and preventing clot formation. Therefore generally called as a blood thinner.Clot formation inside the blood vessels is the major cause of stroke,it helps in reducing the chances of stroke in patients prone to having one.
11 :
Aspirin increases the chances of blood becoming thick. This thick blood increases the extra load on the heart in the pumping. Moreover the thinner blood help in removing the cholesterol from the heard valves.
12 :
it stopes platelet from synthetizing thromboxane A2, which is released from activated plateletes & promotes vessele constriction & further platelete aggrigation..... (the exact way it does that: it is a cyclo-oxygenase enzyme inhibitor...this enzyme is needed for the synthesis of thromboxan A2

when nursing apatient suffering from chronic heart disease how would you change the bed sheets

when nursing apatient suffering from chronic heart disease how would you change the bed sheets?

Heart Diseases - 2 Answers

1 :
Depends on their amount of disability and whether they are bedridden or if they are allowed to get up into a chair. If they are allowed to be up in a chair, put them in the chair and change the bed linens.
2 :
My answer to that depends on how mobile the patients is. Is he or she capable of sitting in a chair? Are they self ambulatory? If they are you can use the same method that you would use if a patient was capable of walking down the hall. If the patient is bed bound you will need to use the log roll method. For this you will need two people. Remove top sheets. Flatten and raise the bed to a comfortable working height. Lower the guard rail on your side. Remove pillows and roll patient toward your assistant. While your assistant holds the patient in position, loosen and roll up all lower sheets to half the width of the bed. Place and tuck new sheets along side. Roll patient towards you, Hold while your assistant removes old sheets and tucks new ones in. Lay patient flat. Raise guard rails. Replace pillows ( in fresh pillow slips). Put on new top sheets and blankets. Tuck in at foot of bed. Lower bed and raise the head

Its already 3 doctors said that may be I have some kind of heart disease

Its already 3 doctors said that may be I have some kind of heart disease.?
I was been ward in the past two years. And I cant forget it.Why does three normal doctor said that my heart beat and it sound is quiet not normal. But then when I went to heart specialist and he said nothing problem with my heart..Help please cos I value ur opinion.

1 :
That's why they call him a HEART SPECIALIST, because he knows what he's talking about.
2 :
First of all, a doctor should have never randomly said that to you. It takes tests to find out for sure if you have disease. As far as a Cardiologist saying you are fine makes me wonder if you did see a specialist as they would need to do tests as well. Chances are, you don't have any or enough symptoms for the specialist to put you through testing. So, you can count on the opinion of the specialist

Why haven't we made in decreasing the rates of heart disease

Why haven't we made in decreasing the rates of heart disease?
Even though we know heart diseases have been the number one killer in the U.S. for decades

Because people aren't doing what they need to in order to minimize their risk. Time and technology means nothing if people can't do basic things that help them.
2 :
trust me there trying.. right now in some places they have decresed death form a heart attack down below 5%.. but with peoples lifestyles only getting worst not better.. were probably only going to see more.. In most cases heart disease is preventable if you eat healthy and exercise all your life..
3 :
Most of the heart patients are diabetic. To reduce the number of heart patients, it is necessary to control diabetes. Exercise, non-smoking of cigarettes, avoiding fatty foods / fastfoods etc will help to reduce the number of heart patients to a certain extent. Atherosclerosis / arteriosclerosis is the main cause of coronary artery disease. Please see the webpages for more details on Heart disease.
4 :
Because you boss is such a damn slave driver that the stress level is enormous. That plus our eating habits, lack of rest and other factors such as smoking, lack of exercise, doing crack. They all add up

If you are only at risk of either one , nothing will show up on your oral exam. The dentist must know if you are at risk and you will have to state so in your medical history you fill out.
2 :
If U eat meat, U are at risk

Ok, I wrote a 5 page paper on heart disease a little less than a year ago. Heart disease results from atherosclerosis, which is the building up of plaque in your arteries. Here's a really good website: http://www.americanheartassociation.com/presenter.jhtml?identifier=1200000

what is benign hypertensive heart disease without heart failure, neuroti malaise

what is benign hypertensive heart disease without heart failure, neuroti malaise?
someone i love was diagnosed with it and trying to figure out in actual english what it means
Heart Diseases - 1 Answers

1 :
If a person actually has hypertension, there is nothing benign about it. The term "neurotic malaise" suggests an emotional or psychiatric connection. A person can go through a psychiatric process called "conversion". This is the process of unconsciously transforming psychic conflict into a somatic symptom. In short it is a matter of unconscious mind over body thing. Thus the term "benign" hypertension. There may be nothing physically wrong with the person, but whether or not they are aware of it, their neurotic state is causing a real bodily symptom, where there is no underlying physical cause. These individuals can be very hard to diagnose and are easily missed in a busy practice. Often medication is prescribed for the symptoms or expensive tests are conducted with no resolution of the condition and no definite conclusion as to the cause. The fact that you mention the terms "benign hypertensive heart disease" and neurotic malaise" indicates whoever examined the person you love, suspected this. From what little information you give, the question appears to suggest this as the answer
