ok I can only tell you of my own experience, firstly my blood pressure started ,fluctuating, up one week down the next, increase dosage of medication, then have the blood tested for highs and lows etc.my problem started with low platelets, guess what they haven't got a clue how to rectify this problem, head scratching time ,lose weight, try this, mmnn didn`t work well try this, go to another specialist,he detected a murmur, in to hospital , sedation,hit with electric paddles jolted the heart with 240 volts, heart stay`d ok, for 1 day back into fibrillation ,we think you have heart disease ,we will require you to wear a monitor for a couple of days,wired me up,off I go 2 days later they said that I was flat lining ,in other words your heart stops for 4-5 seconds ,back into hospital,sedated,15mins.later a $22.000 pacemaker is inserted, feeling really great , another specialist during battery ,tuning,calibration, detected another problem angiogram performed and the heart was crossed, from one auricle,to the other ,prognosis ,the blood is pooling ,and not emptying properly, well we will replace the aorta valve ,and the mitral valve with pigs valves that should work. so its a on going saga ,fun isn`t it. so thats heart disease
