i was reading through some census that the first disease that people die of in the united states is heart disease.At the same time i read somewhere that people with this disease dont allow spirituality in their lives to happen what do you think?

I think, there's no scientific explanation to explain the relation between heart disease and the spirituality. But it is not a closed statement to say if there's no relationship. I still don't understand the meaning of "spirituality" itself for them. The heart disease that usually happens in United States is Coronary Heart Disease that usually leads to a sudden death. But also in some references, it was said that "the will of life" can make the heart made an anastomosis (a new vascular tissues) to the affected heart muscles, so that the muscles could escape from ischaemia because of the obstructed vessels. Unfortunately there is no scientific evidence for this phenomenon.

It is a complicated/debatable topic, but putting the answer in nut shell " Many people have turn out to be religious as this is what was missing in their life, it's not something out of the blue". I have countless patients who became religious after first episode. I think they realized that doctors are helpless too. Hope answered your question
