Not enough information. What is you diet ? What is you BP? What is you Homocysteine levels. What is the 7236.1? How did you get that figure?
2 :
The salt is very high. Your weight is a little high. Your age is on your side, but its good to be checked by a doctor for basic things, like blood pressure. My family is like yours and their heart problems started when they were in their 40s or 50s. What is the age in yours- that'll tell you alot.

Congenital heart disease: Tetralogy of Fallot a maybe- my 1yr old?
my daughter who is 13 months old has been having blue episodes (with out any other symptoms: no breathing problems, no choking, no crying.) nothing unordinary but the blueness and sometimes cranky. but the doctor is sending her to a ped. cardiologist for an EKG & echiocardigram. she has already had 2 heart/chest x-rays. wouldnt it have showed up in an x-ray? im not sure at all. just wondering. thank you.

A chest x-ray is the most basic of diagnostic tools. It shows only a basic outline of the heart. I would think that if they are looking at issues that involves heart muscle and valves then they would need to do ultrasounds, echos and EKGs in order to determine whether or not she possessed the malformations described in this disorder. Or to pinpoint where the issue is if they do not find them. They may also want to do MRIs and hopefully you will get answers quickly

If a person has a heart attack at 38, will he die of heart disease at a young age

If a person has a heart attack at 38, will he die of heart disease at a young age?

Heart Diseases - 10 Answers

No not necessarily. There is the risk. A person in this situation should evaluate why the attack happened. Was it a clot? Then aspirin daily plus fish oil and a healthy diet very well may prevent additional clots. Was it clogged arteries? Then drastic diet change plus exercise needed. Was it a defect of the heart? Then that defect needs to be explored to find out if it can be repaired or treated with diet or perhaps a heart transplant needed.
2 :
possibly, i had a friend die in july of HD, he was 32
3 :
only one person knows that answer...
4 :
not neccessarily but the risk is significantly higher. When suffering from heart attack at such an early stage, there is very likely a significant risk factor involved, like: 1. high cholesterol, 2. smoking, 3. diabetes, 4. high blood pressure, 5. overweight or obesity, 6. extremely low exercise level, or the two of which you cannot influence which are 7. family history of premature heart disease and 8. being male. (the risk factor are in arranged in descending importance). All one can do is limit the risk factors you can do something about, take the meds and you can still be knocked off at zebra crossing at the are of 92. All the best!
5 :
If he does nothing, his chance of another heart attack is high. He is at high risk of not surviving the coming attacks. Even with bypass operation, the arteries will continue to clog up with cholesterol. Likely hi cholesterol. Familial. (hereditary). Or has diabetes mellitus, smokes, overwt.+/-, hi BP, hi sugar, butter, egg yolk diet. Get on vytorin immediately. Get the cholesterol down, esp the LDL. and get HDL up. If it is the good HDL. Vytorin is a combo of statin(blocks cholesterol production in the liver), and zetia, blocks reabsorption of cholesterol from the gut. As well as clearing all the above risks as much as possible. My cholesterol went from 210 to 155 to 108 over 2 1/2 years on zetia and then the combo (with a statin). It may even pull some of the clogging cholesterol out of the arterial walls.

Eat less animal fat and lose weight.

If a person sincerely follows his doctor's advice, he/she will usually do well. The patient must also seek psychiatric care if that is necessary. "Anxiety" and "undue stress" play serious roles in causing "heart attacks" as well. This is why I made the suggestion about seeing another kind of doctor. Even if there is a family history of "heart conditions," the appropriate treatment for this condition can often stamp out that "inherited" bad luck. Modern medicines and new methods can change "family histories" to a more "positive" longer living status. I wish you well. Peace, Love and God Bless.
9 :
Not if he takes care of himself...... Diet, exercise etc
10 :

Compassionate Libs, aren't you happy that Rush didn't have a heart attack, or have heart disease?
You say you want diversity, and Rush provides a diversity of thought. Is diversity of thought OK with you?

As a liberal, I am happy that Rush is doing well. I don't like his politics but I hope he lives a long and healthy life.
2 :
I'm no Lib, and I think Rush is a terrible excuse for an entertainer, but I'm glad he's okay.
3 :
I would never wish ill-health or death upon another human being just because of political ideology. That is just immature and sick. But as I see, so many conservatives would have no problem doing just that, would they??
4 :
Yes I am. However I am unhappy that right-wingers still haven't wised up to the propaganda stunts. Interesting that none of the right-wing trolls pretending to be liberals wishing death on him have been around lately.
5 :
Rush just makes up BS to scare old people and simpletons. His disease is between his ears.
6 :
Yea Im glad.He can go back to his pack of wild dogs on a three legged cat show now in bedder haelth. I wish him a good life

Primary cardiac sarcomas encompass a broad spectrum of tumors, such as angiosarcoma, osteosarcoma, fibrosarcoma, malignant fibrous histiocytoma, leiomyosarcoma, myxosarcoma, synovial sarcoma, neurofibrosarcoma, lymphosarcoma, reticulum cell sarcoma, and undifferentiated sarcoma.\ Angiosarcomas have a high mortality rate. Most patients do not survive beyond 6 months from the time of diagnosis of this cardiac tumor. Mortality rates in patients with other malignant cardiac tumors are also high, especially in those with metastases, which tend to involve the heart late in the course of malignant disease. •Benign cardiac tumors can usually be resected and have a good prognosis. Heart valvular heart disease alone can be surgically repaired with excellent results using an artifical caged ball valve and can extend life expectancy. Every case is different and must be evaluated by your physician in order to get some kind of prognosis and even then we often wonder if only higher powers have the capabiity to answer a very difficult question. Good luck.
4 :
Really impossible to say without knowing the details of your sarcoma and valve issue. You should discuss this with your doctor

Maybe it's not the high fat foods we eat but the water we drink that effects heart disease

Maybe it's not the high fat foods we eat but the water we drink that effects heart disease?
http://www.orthomolecular.org/library/jom/2000/articles/2000-v15n02-p089.shtml This article, while not enough by itself to change anyone's diet or medical treatment, should still be something to think about. (article points to chlorine in our water as a factor contributing to plaque build up in arteries)

it is 50 percent sure......why?even though a water is clear no one would ever track a possible cancerous cells....some water has lead which is very dangerous.......answered by a pinoy...dr.ace all spark.....some gets a cancer in drinking water...why there are diseases like water intoxification?
2 :
A while back, Cryptosporidium showed up as a parasite that could kill. It's also an important disease in regards to HIV patients. THe problem was this parasite is resistant to chlorine. Los ANgeles response was to add more chlorine in the water. THe proper choice was to update our water system to add ozone or UV light. BOth was closely to implement and UV was very expensive in the long run. Replacing the light source is costly. Chlorine is very destructive towards cells. This is why we added to the water. It destroys bacteria cells. Unfortunately our cells would be effected to a lesser degree. It's better than having people get cholera, but I like to see ozone being used.

Considering that there is actually no definitive proof that fats cause heart disease and that pollutants are starting to be implicated more and more in heart disease, this is quite possible. The problem is that that the lipid hypothesis has been pushed so hard for so long that no one is prepared to stand up and say they may have been wrong. This also apples to the adding of toxic compounds such as chlorine and fluoride to our drinking supply. Pride and fear of legal action will continue to prevail over finding the truth and people's health
