This might be what you are looking for...lookslike it`s Japan with 30 per 100K people... Hope this helps! This seems to show heart disease deaths..does not seem to take into consideration those that get heart disease and live because of a superior health care system. It may be somewhere else on the site but I dont see it at the moment. Good Luck!

Can a Heart Murmur lead to Diabetes and the Celiac Disease

Can a Heart Murmur lead to Diabetes and the Celiac Disease?
The Celiac Disease is when the body is sensitive to Gluten which is found in Rye, Wheat. When the Gluten molecule combines with antibodies in the small intestine. It then causes the lining of the intestine to flatten, which then means that its unable to digest and absorb foods. A Heart Murmur is when you have an irregular heart beat (like me) and it can be fatal.

Heart murmurs are fairly common and I wouldn't worry about it unless your doctor thinks there is a reason to be concerned. Diabetes could be more likely if you don't ever exercise because of the heart murmur, but the murmur will not directly cause it. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease and I don't think it is related to heart murmurs. Heart murmurs are actually not just irregular beating-it's hearing an extra or unusual sound during the heart beat. The irregular beating is an heart arrhythmia, which definitely can be a concern. Again, the risk is it is harder to exercise because you don't want your heart rate to get to high because of the risks and you are more likely to have diabetes if you don't exercise and eat right.

many heart murmurs are minor--and don't cause a problem----if it does--many are treatable

Where does the county jail put people who are disable from heart disease

Where does the county jail put people who are disable from heart disease?
The term will be 48 hours

In jail, same as everyone else. Chances are, if they are able bodied enough to commit a crime, then they are able-bodied enough to survive 48 hours in a jail.
2 :
I HAVE NO IDEA BUT THAT IS WHAT I WONDER ABOUT THE SICK IN JAIL
3 :
not sure good question. i guess they would go the same place the prisoners with diabetes, etc. go. the warden probably will give them their medication.
4 :
if the incarnation is only for 48 hours then they will be either in local or county lock up and for 48 they will just be in general population
5 :
I often wonder the same thing. To me a heart patient would be a high risk inmate crime or no crime 48 hours doesn't sound like you robbed a bank. If you have a weak heart to much stress and anxiety will put a strain on the heart. I guess they are not obligated to have do anything. They don't give you your meds because the other inmates I think would take them or sell them or use them. Pray your family get's a big settlement from your death.
6 :
Well, if the heart condition didn't prevent you from committing a crime, there is no reason it should prevent you from paying for the crime. Hopefully, you will be treated like any other criminal. Otherwise, you should have to pay for anything extra yourself.
7 :
In Illinois, county and state jails have a medical staff available.....usually the people who have medical problems are kept in the medical area (ward, wing, pod, etc;). Hope this helps.
8 :
This is a really tough question. I know that you worry about your loved one being in jail with a disability, but I worry about him/her committing whatever crime landed them there in the first place. A crime is a crime and the time is the time. Believe me, prisoners are treated humanely and are given their medication and see the nurse or a doctor as required. If something happens, they are even taken to the local emergency room. Forty eight hours is a short time to worry about him/her, but hopefully long enough that they learn that they are subject to the same laws as the rest of us. If that sounds hard, I am sorry. It comes from a very long career in criminal justice.
9 :
if you can prove you have heart issues explain to judge and ask for solitaire confinement
10 :
County Jail Facilities each have whats called "Medical" this a special area within the Jail where inmates with medical issues or conditions are housed. There are Officers assigned to keep whats called "close watch" on these inmates where they visually check the inmate at least every 15 to 30 minutes depending on the status of the inmate and his condition. This area of the Jail also has Medical Staff assigned 24/7 usually at least an R/N
11 :
Some of your larger counties have medical areas in their jails. Others might put you in a cell or area all alone and have cameras on you 24/7

What is hypertensive heart disease

What is hypertensive heart disease?
in a 14 year old girl. Is it caused by hypertension? can it be just enlargement(hypertrophy) of the left ventricle with hypertension?

1 :
Hypertensive heart disease refers to coronary artery disease, heart failure, and enlargement of the heart that occur because of high blood pressure. see also: http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/h/hypertensive_heart_disease/intro.htm
2 :
I agree with Chrissy
3 :
Hypertensive heart disease would be any changes that occur in the heart in response to high blood pressure (hypertension.) The most common change is thickening of the heart muscle in response to the high pressure. This is known as left ventricular hypertrophy. This is the most common cause of diastolic dysfunction, which means that the heart has difficulty filling. Over time, some patients can then have enlargement of the cardiac cavity. This can lead to a type of heart failure known as systolic dysfunction in which the heart does not pump out enough blood. The point is that hypertensive heart disease is a very broad term that means any heart disease that is the result of hypertension. Heart attacks from blockages in the vessels that supply the heart (coronary artery disease) would NOT be considered a hypertensive heart disease even though hypertension is a risk factor. There are many other diseases that can produce similar changes in the heart, but are not hypertensive heart disease. For example, a leaky heart valve can lead to left ventricular hypertrophy but it would not be considered hypertensive heart disease. I hope that makes sense, if not let me know. Good luck.

what is the best OTC medicine for a person with heart disease and diabetic for a head cold

what is the best OTC medicine for a person with heart disease and diabetic for a head cold?

OTC medicines are better avoided in a person with heart disease.
2 :
Absolutely None. Save your money, and effort. I anyone had discovered a cure for head colds they'd have been richer than Bill Gates years ago. No-one has, and they just like to sell you pills.
3 :
You need to consult with your Endo, Cardiologist, and GP to get something that will relieve your head and not mess with the glucose levels or heart medications. Try hard not to get the corticosteroids for this problem. They are worse for you than anything else. Advair is the primary choice of these and it is so totally nasty. It has raised my bp, my bg, and caused me edema so bad that I cannot get my house shoes on!!

Hello Lucy ! Yes, offcourse. You please be in contact with your physician at regular intervals and follow the advice given to you. Frequency of checks will be determined by the specialist.
2 :
yes go for a checkup and ask if you need to go another time or how often you need to go.
3 :
Yes see a cardiologist and have them check your Cholesterol level and BP and do an EKG to find out how your ticker is working
4 :
Firstly identify your risk factors and eliminate them. Stop smoking reduce salt intake eat healthy foods and take regular exercise. If you are concerned see you doctor, if he/she feel it is necessary they will refer you to a cardiac consultant at the local hospital. you may need the advice from a dietitian as well. If you do have any problems like me then your doctor should check you regularly every year, but if experience any pains call an ambulance and get to hospital.
