I am trying to find an article that I have seen before that shows anxiety to be a symtom of heart disease

I am trying to find an article that I have seen before that shows anxiety to be a symtom of heart disease.?
The article mentioned adrenaline increasing in patients to make up for the job the hear is not doing. It mentioned the use of beta blocker to help decrease the symptom of anxiety that the heart causes. Can anyone help me find it again?

Go to google search and enter the words, "effect of noradrenaline on Heart Rate". You will find many articles there.
2 :
Do you have heart disease or are you just anxious?
3 :
Factors disposing to coronary thrombosis are sedentary life and lack of exercise, overeating, cigarette smoking and mental stress and strain.
4 :
The first link article doesn't mention adrenaline which can have the effect of increasing the heart rate. University of Sydney professor of cardiology Ben Freedman from Sydney's Concord hospital, said "If you have a high heart rate there was an increase in heart attack, there was about a 46 percent increase in hospitalizations for non-fatal or fatal heart attack." and... A 1990 to 2002 British study of 57,615 patients diagnosed with panic and anxiety attacks disorder and 347,000 patients without symptoms of anxiety attacks found a few surprising links between heart attacks and panic attacks. Heart disease was more prevalent among everyone recently diagnosed with panic attack disorder. Heart disease for panic anxiety patients under 50 was especially high, as were female participants from 16 to 40 years of age.

The person who has written that article does not know that Anxiety states cause acute Myocardial Infraction. Than a vicious circle of SECONDARY anxiety begins, eventually leading to poor prognosis

of course stress causes many problems in a human body which could lead to heart failure and dpression can do the same ur body just cant function properly anymore and it gives up because the person seems to have (probably not but u get my point) and anger usually leads to both stress and sadness so ya
2 :
Certainly, Stress release can release "fight or flight" hormones such as cortisol which stimulate the entire circulatory system. This prolonged exposure to these hormones can cause devastating harm to the human body.
3 :
I think it all depends on if you take care of yourself. If you eat healthy and exercise daily then you're less likely to get heart disease even with stress, etc

when will cholesterol be vindicated from its reputation as the supposed "cause" of heart disease

when will cholesterol be vindicated from its reputation as the supposed "cause" of heart disease?
When do you think it will, or won't it?

Frankly I think in the medical profession, that has been known for sometime. Cholesterol "contributes" to heart disease, it doesn't "cause" heart disease. Dr. Louis Ignarro has won a Nobel prize in medicine for his research into this very subject, and has a formula for very inexpensively treating the root cause of heart disease, with a set of six supplements. He has proven the effectiveness in literally thousands of clinical trials all over the world. But because his formula would significantly cut into the profits of the pharmeceutical companies here, they have spent millions suppressing his work and more millions touting the effectiveness of statins, which do, in my opinion, more harm than good. The information is out there for anyone who wants to be educated about their health.

No it will never be eliminated as one of the causes but any type of fat is a risk for heart disease, esp. trans fats. Having said that, there always seems to be exceptions. Some people can eat all the fat types of food and it never clogs their arteries so I would have to assume there are some genetic factors involved also. Personally I don't like fat on meat and that is one of the worst kind so I try to eat less fat of all types in my diet.

I think it already has. I am working more on keeping my blood vessels pliable and strong. It is not so much the cholesterol as it is the condition of your arteries. If they become jagged, then the fat in the blood stream clogs it. So to me, do whatever you can do to keep your arteries healthy. Fish, flax seed, stuff like that. Cutting out excess cholesterol is good to do to but you must do both
