Yes. Read A Cry Unheard: The Medical Consequences of Loneliness by James J Lynch.

Absolutely not. However, people might say something like that because they do cause stress and anxiety. That might contribute to something waaaaaaaaaaay down the road, and if you were bad shape and prone to heart trouble. So in a very very convoluted way, someone MIGHT think that.
4 :
Yes i read an article about it, It wears the heart out because your emotions cause blood t shoot up from your bloodstream which causes tiny "tears" in your heart (like tearing paper).Yeah it leads to anxiety attacks. It’s thought that a surge of stress hormones, such as adrenaline, might temporarily damage the heart of some people. How these hormones might hurt the heart or whether something else is responsible isn’t clear

STATS QUESTION:A study is conducted to determined if there is a greater rate of heart disease in lefties vs.?
A study is conducted to determined if there is a greater rate of heart disease in lefties vs. righties. A random sample of 500 lefties showed 40 had heart problems. While 500 righties showed 30 had heart problems. Is this difference significant at a 5% level to show there is a difference between righties and lefties?

1 :
No, since the two samples are not equally-representative of their respective populations
2 :
We should perform a test of hypothesis. Let P1 be the population proportion of lefties have heart diseases P2 be the population proportion of righties have heart diseases. The appropriate hypotheses are: H0: P1 <= P2 H1: P1 > P2. Now let p1 and p2 be the sample proportion of lefties and righties have heart diseases, respectively. Here p1=40/500 and p2=30/500. We reject H0 (accept H1) if and only if: (p1-p2)/s > z, where s = ( p(1-p)*(1/n1+1/n2) )^1/2 ; p=(m1+m2)/(n1+n2), m1=40, m2=30, n1=n2=500, z = -1.64 (0.05-percentile of standard normal distribution). I leave the computations to you!

This is a difficult question to answer. The cost ultimately depends on what the defect is. Some defects aren't very noticeable and won't effect your life while others require a heart transplant which is a minimum cost $200-250,000.

I work at my country’s Bank and could have gone anywhere in the world for treatment. I opted for Forerunners Healthcare Consultant’s in India because my doctor told me about the medical expertise there. Equally importantly he had heard glowing reports about the humane and patient-friendly doctors and nurses. My surgery was outstanding and the prices, amazing! It was a very happy experience, in every sense. I commend India as a wonderful place to get treated in. Having lived in the US for several years, I can say that the hospital in India compares well with the best in the USA. http://www.forerunnershealthcare.com

Information about cholesterol lowering medicine and heart disease wanted

Information about cholesterol lowering medicine and heart disease wanted?
I have a history of acute Congestive heart failure unknown cause; maybe alcohol or viral age 29. I have been on Lipitor 18 months with sore, aching muscles for all that time. I ran out of Lipitor for 3 days and started feeling better. I stayed off and now 2 weeks later I feel better then ever? My GP says it's "placebo" thinking that the Lipitor is causing the muscles my blood tests do not indicate Lipitor is effecting my muscles. However my Triglycerides get high at times and my cholesterol a little high /not much. Can anybody suggest the risk over benefit with Lipitor and other statins. I do not qualify to take alternitives in medical cholesterol lowering meds. STATINS OR NOTHING? Or natural therapies. Please help

I do not take it myself but know friends and family that do. Some are on Lipitor. Aching muscles seem to be a common problem or even a cough. Most people can try a different med. I understand that you can't change. But the risk of not taking it is serious. You'd be vulnerable for a stroke or heart attack if your normal cholesterol is high. Give it some serious thinking. My mothers doctor put her on a once a week med for cholesterol because of the ache in her legs.
2 :
Minor muscle aches and pains while on Lipitor are common. Your doctor is telling you your lab work does not indicate possible rhabdomyolosis- a rare side effect of Lipitor which destroys muscle.Lipitor is the most effective statin so if you take anything different it would be less beneficial. Lipitor has less of an effect on triglycerides, you may want to ask your doctor about OMACOR which is a prescription fish oil specifically for lowering triglycerides

How is heredity, malnutrition, neoplasm, and infection linked with heart disease?

Hereditary is proved to have links with your chances of getting heart disease. Fortunately there are measures which can be taken to stave the development of it. Good diet, exercise, weight maintainance, keeping cholesterol levels down (diet and drugs if need be). Infection can cause damage to the structures of the heart eg Rheumatic fever can damage the valves, or inflammation of the muscle or layers of the heart. As far as Im aware neoplasm isnt linked
