Do people who eat habaneros, chili peppers and other really hot foods have a reduced risk for heart disease?
What is the scientific basis for the same if any?

Peppers, onions and garlic and such are really healthy foods that work well for preventing certain types of cancers and possibly treating as well. The scientific basis is the antioxidants and other such things in it. I would recommend a book called "the new healing herbs" it is chock full of info and it is all based on scientific evidence

Obviously the answer is "yes" but any idea on numbers or percentages compared to humans that can have artificial diets and sedentary lifestyles?

nope. they do not eat cooked and trans fat.

Primates are closest to humans in many ways that cause diseases. Heart diseases are not an exception. Though diet based/atherosclerotic heart problems are not common in primates, there are other causes such as congenital coronary abnormalities and coronary spasm do occur in primates resulting in heart attacks. There is no comprehensive study done in this realm and available sources are sketchy

They're only doing this to cover up all the negative publicity with their record of animal cruelty. Please don't fall for it, and join me in boycotting KFC until they clean up their act
