OTC medicines are better avoided in a person with heart disease.

Absolutely None. Save your money, and effort. I anyone had discovered a cure for head colds they'd have been richer than Bill Gates years ago. No-one has, and they just like to sell you pills.

You need to consult with your Endo, Cardiologist, and GP to get something that will relieve your head and not mess with the glucose levels or heart medications. Try hard not to get the corticosteroids for this problem. They are worse for you than anything else. Advair is the primary choice of these and it is so totally nasty. It has raised my bp, my bg, and caused me edema so bad that I cannot get my house shoes on!!

Hello Lucy ! Yes, offcourse. You please be in contact with your physician at regular intervals and follow the advice given to you. Frequency of checks will be determined by the specialist.
2 :
yes go for a checkup and ask if you need to go another time or how often you need to go.
3 :
Yes see a cardiologist and have them check your Cholesterol level and BP and do an EKG to find out how your ticker is working
4 :
Firstly identify your risk factors and eliminate them. Stop smoking reduce salt intake eat healthy foods and take regular exercise. If you are concerned see you doctor, if he/she feel it is necessary they will refer you to a cardiac consultant at the local hospital. you may need the advice from a dietitian as well. If you do have any problems like me then your doctor should check you regularly every year, but if experience any pains call an ambulance and get to hospital.
